Shipping & Returns
At Sky Iris, we know no one likes crazy or unexpected shipping costs. We strive to be reasonable and fair with shipping charges. To date, we have simple flat rate shipping of $8.95 for orders under $99, and everything else is free for standard U.S. shipping (applies to single address shipping per order. Additional shipping charges may apply to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. Territories for large items.). Very simple and no worries!
Ask us about overnight and expedited shipping availability, which is possible on many of our product offerings.
Local Store Pickup - We offer local customers the option of store pickup in Northern Michigan as a wonderful convenience. With the exception of freight cost for large items, local pickup is a free service. Please make a note in your checkout if you would like local pickup and we will waive any standard shipping fees. Your payment will be adjusted at time of processing.
We normally ship without a signature required. If a special product does require a signature, we will try to notify you of this requirement and the ship date.
We now offer shipping through our online system for Canadian Customers! Standard Shipping levels apply to regular-sized package shipments. Oversized shipping will incur additional shipping fees. After your order is placed, we will provide you with an exact quote for large item shipping before your order is processed. Please contact us for additional information.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: For all other international locations, please send us a message with your purchase request, city, country, and postal code. We will provide a shipping quote with the most cost-effective shipping method. Please note that international orders may incur additional customs and duty fees which are the responsibility of the customer. For international orders, we ship with tracking numbers for security and package tracking.
Return and Exchange Policies
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return unused and unwashed merchandise in its original condition and packaging, for a refund, exchange or store credit within 21 days of item receipt. Actual original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount. This also applies to items that were shipped to you with “Free Shipping” promotions. We will deduct shipping costs from your total refund amount. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom, made-to-order, and furniture orders. In our product descriptions, we have included information if this policy applies. You must contact SKY IRIS at email@example.com with a written request for return approval prior to shipment.
GOOD NEWS! If you decide to choose store credit rather than refund, Sky Iris will not deduct original shipping costs from the original order and we will pay for your return shipping costs. You will be issued a coupon code for store credit to be used when placing a re-order.
If you decide to return an item, please contact us within (21) business days of receipt of the item and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RAN). A RAN is valid for (14) business days and the item must be shipped within (14) day period. Customers are required to pay return shipping charges and are responsible for return shipping. If you return an item that has not been issued an RAN or is after (14) days or the item has been used or otherwise poor/damaged condition, SKY IRIS will not issue you a refund for the product’s cost.
A restocking fee of 10% will be deducted from returns for an item with a value over $1,500 due to the extra handling and shipping costs that are associated with expensive and large items.
Sale and Clearance Items
All clearance items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Custom, Made-to-order, and Furniture Items
Custom-designed furnishings, bedding, accessories, select gifts, and other made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that are custom are noted as such in the product descriptions.
Cancellation Policy - A customer may cancel a custom, made-to-order or furniture order within two (2) days of purchase order date for a full refund. After two (2) days, the sales order is FINAL and no refund will be given. After (2) two days, all custom, made-to- order and furniture orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages.

Shipping of items that are ordered at the same time may not be packaged together. Merchandise may be shipped directly from the manufacturer and arrive to you separately from other merchandise shipped directly from our store.
We try to give accurate lead times for custom orders and furniture, but lead times are not a guarantee of a specific delivery date from the manufacturer. In addition, many of our products ship directly from the manufacturer and we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, but have given estimates of delivery times in product descriptions. If an item becomes backordered, SKY IRIS will notify you as soon as possible.
Please inspect merchandise for any damages that might have occurred during shipping. It is very important to inspect and note any damages upon delivery receipt. Any damage must be recorded on the receipt by the delivery driver otherwise neither SKY IRIS, the manufacturer, nor the delivery company will be held liable. Damage not noted on delivery receipt will be determined to be customer damage, and not warranted. You must notify SKY IRIS concerning any visible defects or variances to order details within (7) days or any warranties will not be issued with the manufacturer.
Freight charges are based on residential delivery. Our residential freight delivery includes shipment to your home address and delivery through your doorway/threshold. For white glove delivery and special options, please contact us for delivery needs and costs.
Backorders - In case a product is backordered, we will notify you right away with an estimated ship date. You have the option to cancel a backordered item, if it has not already shipped, by either email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 231.330.7540.
